![]() Square has also confirmed they're bringing FFXIV MMO to Xbox, but they don't have a timeline and it's not a top priority, so square not getting around to it doesn't mean they can't or won't. Square's been pretty forward with their games there. The first title in a multi-part series, it is based on the story from the original game, up to the escape from Midgar, adding in new elements. I also wouldn't be surprised if it launched onto Game Pass if it does. This game is a remake of FINAL FANTASY VII, first released in 1997. If around June 10th/E3 we hear something we know it was a 1 year console extension. Hopefully it will come to Steam at a later date. ![]() PC seems to be almost always separate and shorter terms than console exclusivity. Unfortunately for Steam users, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is currently only pencilled in for an Epic Games Store release. No way to know for sure, we all thought it would be on XB by now until they found a way to make it exclusive by adding DLC again, it may never come to XB, but I still think it will. Makes sense, we're officially at 6 months today, thus the announce on PC. The classic RPG, that was rebuilt from the ground-up and released on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5, will be arriving on the Epic Games Store on December 16. We can't know Intergrade's terms for renewal but I'm assuming it's "6 months exclusive, 1 year console exclusive" which isn't uncommon. Square Enix just announced during The Game Awards that FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE is coming to the PC. Sony, and even Nintendo have been less into "platform exclusive" and more into "console exclusive + PC" with their timed exclusivity deals. Sony obviously doesn't consider PC to make something "non-exclusive" since they're bringing their own games there, and Microsoft considers PC to be exclusive. Players who have already purchased a PS4 copy of the game will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free but will still need to purchase Intergrade separately. Fri 10th Dec Iwouldn't read much into it. FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE takes advantage of the latest generation hardware and includes a wealth of graphical, gameplay and system enhancements for the PS5: Immerse yourself in the city of Midgar like never before, with improved textures, lighting, and background environments. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to launch on June 10 of this year for 69.99 on PlayStation 5.
